Job Summary:As a specialized healthcare provider at Saint Vincent Physician Services, Inc, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. • Compliance and Confidentiality: Adhere to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Client Care: Obtain and record clients' health history, perform comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose, treat, and plan appropriate healthcare for clients as required, and refer clients to physicians and/or outside agencies as needed.
• Documentation and Communication: Ensure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities in accordance with TPR policy, and report any injuries or adverse reactions during or after treatment to the attending physician.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in patient review conferences and staffing, assist physicians with Utilization Review, Quality Assurance, Program Evaluation, Infection Control, Safety Committee activities, and provide consultative direction as needed for nursing, laboratory, and clinic assistant staff.
• Certification and Licensure: Maintain current Advanced Nurse Practitioner licensure to practice in the state, CPR certification, and DEA registration with the state.Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing, Master's degree in nursing, completion of a state-acceptable Nurse Practitioner's program, and certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner are required.
