Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Staff Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and evaluate nursing care plans for patients of all ages, taking into account their unique needs and cultural backgrounds.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in unit-based quality improvement activities.
• Assess patient needs and provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in precepting new graduate nurses and less experienced personnel, and assume charge nurse responsibilities as delegated.Requirements:
  
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or equivalent.
  • 1 year of medical surgical experience required.
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS certifications, as appropriate.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
    
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced patient care environment.
    • Physical ability to assist in lifting and positioning patients.
