  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-operative needs.\n
  • Monitor patient status, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.\n
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.\n\n\n
  • \nClinical Documentation:\n

    • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.\n
    • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and any changes in condition.\n\n\n
    • \nCollaboration and Communication:\n

      • Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.\n
      • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.\n\n\n
      • \nTechnical Skills:\n

        • Operate and maintain medical equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacuums, and telemetry monitors.\n
        • Perform procedures such as catheterizations, wound care, and IV insertions.\n\n\n
        • \nPatient Advocacy:\n

          • Promote patient safety and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.\n
          • Address patient concerns and ensure comfort and dignity throughout the care process.\n\n\n
          • \nEmergency Response:\n

            • Recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions, including initiating life-saving interventions when necessary.\n
            • Actively participate in code teams and rapid response scenarios.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n

              • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.\n
              • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.\n
